Thanks for being a great bunch of people!          Marg Garratt will be covering Starting Dec 6th. Please address any office issues to Marg. Thanks again for your friendships and hard work. December 10 is Human Rights Day

In many parts of Haiti, a lack of resources, gender power imbalances and widespread poverty limit prevention and treatment for women who are victims of sexual violence. Presbyterian World Service & Development is working to protect and promote the rights of women and girls and ensure they have access to the services they need to combat this injustice. After she was attacked on her way to the market, Rodeline received medical care and psychosocial support from health workers and assistance from social workers so she could access legal support. “I am happy and grateful for the health centre’s welcome,” says Rodeline. “Every time I went there, the staff always took care of me.”
