PCC MISSION MOMENTS Hope in the inner city

Presbyterians Sharing supports Winnipeg Inner City Missions to bring light and hope to one of the toughest neighbourhoods in all of Canada. Its Learning and Play program helps young children gain important pre-kindergarten knowledge. Caregivers learn how to engage with their children in a safe place. Many did not experience loving and engaged playing in their own childhood. The program seeks to help caregivers learn how use play to genuinely show their love for their children. Karen, a mother, foster mother and grandmother shares, “I wish I’d had this program when my son was born. Thank God I was given the opportunity to do it over again!” Presbyterians Sharing brings hope to inner-city communities.
