PWS&D Sunday is a day to reflect on the work our church is doing to support marginalized and vulnerable people through programs in international development and emergency relief. Together, we are responding to those who struggle for basic necessities and helping families get what they need to rise above poverty, recover from emergency situations and freely pursue their hopes for the future. Today, we give thanks for compassionate individuals and congregations across Canada and dedicated global partners who follow Jesus, living for justice, mercy and peace. By sharing Christ’s love in vulnerable communities, we are helping build a more sustainable, compassionate and just world. PWS&D responds to needs around the world
