PCC MISSION MOMENTS Serving a mission hospital in Malawi
Sending people to serve internationally is one of the ways the PCC nurtures relationships with partner churches. Claire Fowler, a first-year medical student at the University of British Columbia and a member of Langley Presbyterian Church in BC, volunteered with David Gordon Memorial Hospital in Malawi for four weeks in June 2018. Working alongside Malawian doctors, nurses and clinical staff, she gained valuable experience and built relationships. The hospital staff and patients appreciated Claire’s enthusiasm and dedication. Claire is grateful for the PCC’s support and for the opportunity to gain a more global perspective on medical work.
Enduring Legacy Fund Coffee & Chat – We are pleased to announce that Mr. Mark Brandsma of Covenant Financial will speak to us on Saturday March 30 at 10:00 AM. As we gather for coffee and some goodies, Mark will help us to understand some different ways we can plan our finances that will benefit us personally while helping achieve our target of growing the Langley Presbyterian Church Enduring Legacy Fund by $40,000 this year. You are cordially invited to come and hear what Mark has to say.
NEW ITEMS IN LPC LIBRARY – Thank you for your participation in our LPC Library CD Sale. 67 CDs were sold for a total of $55 towards new material.”
