Pastor Appreciation – The time has come to recognize the work of our pastor, Rev. Dennis Howard, in LPC church.  Our words of appreciation include, but are not limited to the following:  “We value your welcoming, open, and friendly approach and the pleasant way you talk to us as members of LPC church.  We feel your empathy and understanding when we share our problems with you.  We appreciate your diligence in preaching sermons faithful to the Word of God.  We appreciate your openness to our suggestions.  And we enjoy your sense of humour.  Thank you!  May the Lord continue to bless you and your family as you have blessed us.”

PC Connection Article – LPC’s 40th Anniversary celebration write-up appears as an article on page 34 of the PC Connection.  A lovely layout, photos, and coverage of our joyous day!  Copies of this edition of the PC Connection are available at the back of the church.  Here’s the link to view and read it online:  https://presbyterian.ca/presbyterian-connection/

COMMUNITY NEWS

LANGLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOUNDATION
Thank you so much for your donation to the Langley School District Foundation. Your generosity and support of our Food for Thought Campaign makes a huge difference in the lives of the more than three thousand kids who come to school hungry every day. Thanks to you, we now see happy, healthy children sitting among their new-found friends, secure in the knowledge that they do not have to suffer through a day of growling stomachs and lack of nutrition. It really is a sight to behold and you have helped make it happen.
