Mark Your Calendar – LPC Advent Event – Nov. 30, 2019
Beginning at 3:00 on the afternoon of Nov. 30 we will hold our annual Advent Event here at LPC.
At 3:00 we start with Ginger Bread House assembly for the children.
Then at 5:00 PM we enjoy a potluck dinner together.
We will sing Christmas Carols throughout the event. So come, invite your friends and family to enjoy this time of fellowship and fun. Remember to bring your own plates, cups and cutlery to reduce the cleanup chores. Sign up sheets for the number of children coming to put together ginger bread houses and for items you plan to bring to the dinner will be in the back of the church starting next week.

Christmas Eve Special Offering
Session has decided that this year our Christmas Eve special offering will be directed on a fifty/fifty basis to Gateway of Hope a ministry of the Salvation Army here in Langley that serves the poor and the homeless and to Camp Douglas.

Legacy Sunday
On November 17 we will celebrate Legacy Sunday here at LPC.
This special Sunday service reminds us of the significance your legacy gifts have on the on-going ministry and mission of Langley Presbyterian. Your legacy gift, designated to the Langley Presbyterian Enduring Legacy Fund, will ensure that future generations will be blessed by the opportunity “To Glorify and Enjoy God” right here at LPC.

PCC MISSION MOMENTS : Take the Advent challenge!
During the Advent season, we celebrate God’s amazing gift—Jesus! This gift changed the world. Inspired by God’s overwhelming generosity, we  work to make a difference for our people across the globe. Each week of Advent, PWS&D challenges individuals and congregations to share the gifts of hope, peace, joy and love with those living in some of the most vulnerable communities in the world. In the midst of poverty, injustice and disaster, the Christ light shines. To help create bright futures through the Advent Challenge, visit
