Cheque Signing Policy
To avoid the appearance of conflict of interest of having the Rev. Rebecca Simpson (Rev. Howard’s daughter) as a counter-signer on the LPC cheque account the following motions were made and carried:
1) Remove the Rev. Simpson from cheque signing authority at LPC.
2) Permit Rev. Howard to courier invoices and cheques between LPC and Haney Presbyterian to expedite bill-paying process and reduce the treasurer’s travel.
3) Add the Rev. Clara Choi, our current administrator, to cheque signing authority to expedite the bill-paying process.
The next regular meeting of Session will be on September 15/17 at 6 PM at the church.
