In God Alone, We Find Encouragement
WE HAVE COME TO WORSHIP OUR GOD AND TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIM FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS.
The Call to Worship: (responsively)
L: I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry.
P: He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and the mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
L: He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.
P: Blessed is the man who takes the lord His trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.
All: Many, Lord my God, are the wonders You have done.

Prayer of Intercession
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
Forever and ever.
Presentation of Gifts and Offering:
The Offertory Prayer:
Oh God, Giver of all good gifts – in gratitude we bring our gifts today. Use them to the end that Your kingdom may come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Bless the gift and the giver. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
