Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen

Choral Amen:  Amen, Amen, A—men

Go now in peace. Never be afraid.
God will go with you each hour of every day.
Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true.
Know He will guide you in all you do.
Go now in love, and show you believe.
Reach out to others so all the world can see.
God will be there watching from above.
Go now in peace, in faith, and in love.

Langley Presbyterian Church Announcements

Bible Reading Challenge – Please help yourself to a bible reading progress chart, located on the table at the back of the Sanctuary. The instructions are in the handout. At the end of the year, there will be a prize awarded to the individuals who have completed the chart.

Clean-Up Volunteers Needed – The property team is having a cleanup day on Saturday, January 13th, from 9-12:00. The purpose is to make room in our hall for potential renters: Nursery, Sunday school, kitchen, small office, and storage area.

Men’s Breakfast – The next men’s breakfast will be on January 20th at Ricky’s Restaurant in Murrayville.

Elders’ Service Dec. 31st – The body of Christ is charged with honouring those who bring forth the Word of God and lead the church (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13, 1 Peter 2:17, 1 Peter 5:5, Hebrews 13:17). A warm “Thank you” to our church elders for leading the Dec. 31st service.

We Couldn’t do it Without You! Thank you so much, volunteers, for your assistance. We appreciate our volunteers’ efforts in helping to make Sunday Service successful! Our thanks to Patricia & Trevor, and Nancy & Gary.

We would also like to thank the Worship Team for their time and effort, and for leading us in lifting our voices in song, and in worship, of the Lord.
