Trail Walk & Picnic
Join us for a refreshing trail walk followed by tea and delicious refreshments. All are welcome as we enjoy God's creation together!
10:30 AM – Meet at the Picnic Area
We’ll gather near the picnic shelter. Please remind everyone to park closer to the exit of the Fort Langley Historic Site parking lot, as it’s nearest to the picnic area. From there we will walk to the trail entrance.
10:40 AM – 12:00 PM – Trail Walk
Walking time will vary depending on pace. There are a few resting spots with benches along the way. Those who prefer not to walk the full distance can take a break at one of those spots and enjoy the river view.
12:00 – 12:30 PM – Free Time
Feel free to rest, explore the town, or visit the Fort Langley Historic Site.
12:30 – 1:30 PM – Picnic Lunch
We’ll gather back at the picnic shelter for lunch and fellowship.
Pre-ordered lunches:
- Lunches have already been ordered and will be ready for pick up at 12:00 PM tomorrow.
- Utensils will be provided by Wendel’s.
- Payment for your order can be given to Lydia either by cheque, cash, or etransfer.
- Lydia will be pick up the lunches and bring them to the picnic area.
What to Bring:
- Sunglasses
- Hat or umbrella
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Lawn chair or picnic mat (picnic tables are available, but feel free to bring your own chair if you prefer)
- Lunch (for those bringing their own)
Those who can't walk can join us at 12:20 PM at the picnic area.
