Prayer of Dedication
Father, there is nothing we can ever have in life without You blessings us so abundantly. You gave us food and shelter and You continue to do that. You made us part of our families and Your church family. Receive these gifts we offer to You today. May it make a difference in the lives of those who so desperately need change and understanding. May these gifts glorify You. Amen.
The Prayers of the People & The Lord’s Prayer
We thank You Heavenly Father for the glory of the cross that changed our lives. Without that we would have been lost, but by Your grace, new life has changed us. As we have journeyed through Lent and soon will come to the cross of Jesus, transform our lives even more. We commit ourselves to You again. May our response to everything You bless us with, truly be that our entire lives will be in Your service.
Father, we pray for people dear to us. Be with …. and …. and …. Remind them of Your grace and healing power.
We continue to pray as Your Son taught us when we say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen
Hymn: And can it be that I should gain #352
Benediction
The grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the love of God our Father and the companionship of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The grace of Jesus Christ, our Lord, the love of God, our Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you, now and forevermore. Amen.

MAY THE LORD, MIGHTY LORD
May the Lord, mighty Lord, Bless and keep us forever.
Grant us peace, perfect peace, courage in every endeavour.
Open your eyes and see his face, Know his grace forever.
May the Lord, mighty Lord, Bless and keep us forever.
Langley Presbyterian Church Announcements
Food Bank Donations – The wheelbarrow is now in place at the back of the Sanctuary. We are collecting non-perishable food items for local families in need. Norma Leith will be delivering your donations to the Langley Food Bank.
Confirmation Vine Banner – (Hanging in the Chancel)
Symbolism: The base of the serpentine vine contains the work of the Holy Spirit. At confirmation, the dove renews the flame of faith that springs from the vessel containing the blue waters of baptism. The middle loop, the Christian continues to grow in their faith through communion (chalice & wafer) and extends to others the love of Christ (cross & hook equals fishers of men). The top portion, the Bible offers the promise of new life with God in heaven after death (Butterfly).
