This Sunday marks the First Sunday of Advent, the beginning of a season of watchful Hope. In Matthew 24, Jesus reminds us that while the day of His coming is unknown, the posture of our hearts matters deeply. Advent is our invitation to wake up spiritually—to notice God’s movement, to live expectantly, and to welcome Christ anew.
