God Was There All Along

Genesis 45:1–15

Joseph’s story takes an unexpected turn when he finally reveals himself to his brothers. After all the years of hurt, loss, and uncertainty, Joseph begins to see that God had been at work through it all—even when he couldn’t see it at the time.

“God sent me before you to preserve life.”

We don’t always understand what God is doing while we’re in the middle of our own stories. But, like Joseph, we may look back and discover that God was there all along.
