2026 General Assembly – PCC

From June 7–11, 2026, the Presbyterian Church in Canada will gather for its 151st General Assembly at York University (Keele Campus) in Toronto.

The General Assembly is a yearly gathering where ministers and elders from across the country come together to talk, pray, and make decisions that guide the life and work of the church. It’s a time of listening, discernment, and shared direction for the year ahead.

During the week, commissioners will:

  • Hear updates and stories from ministries and church leaders across Canada
  • Discuss and vote on important matters affecting church life and mission
  • Spend time in worship, prayer, and reflection together
  • Elect a new Moderator who will serve as a national representative of the church for the coming year

The Assembly begins with a Communion service on Sunday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) at Vaughan Community Church in Thornhill. For those joining from the Pacific region, this is 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time.  The service will be livestreamed on the Presbyterian Church in Canada’s official YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@presvideo

Topics will include the church’s mission in today’s world, ministry and education, Indigenous reconciliation, governance, and planning for the future.
