Langley Presbyterian Church Announcements

We are pleased to welcome Graeme Kennedy as our new Clerk of Session. Thank you, Graeme, for taking on this role in support of Langley Presbyterian.

We would also like to warmly acknowledge Marianne Lazaro, who has recently stepped down as Clerk of Session, for her five years of dedication to excellence and Langley Presbyterian.

LPC would like to wish Mona Bridgen a heartfelt happy birthday! Mona celebrated her 97th birthday on April 24th! May God bless you, Mona, with His boundless love, peace, and Heavenly joy throughout the coming year!

Rev. Lydia Bae will be away for two weeks (May 5th – 12th). Rev. Allen Aicken will lead Sunday services on May 5th & 12th.

Baby Bottle Campaign – Advokate Life & Education Services’ Baby Bottle Campaign is from Sunday, May 12th – Sunday, June 16th. Please see the posted bulletin on the Community Board for more information.

Langley Presbyterian Church Announcements

Little Ladybug Daycare – Now that the daycare is open, access to the lower hall for any reason other than emergencies is not permitted during their operation hours of 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we adjust to this new situation.

Peace Arch Chorus Sneak Preview – This event will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at 8 p.m., here at Langley Presbyterian. Everyone is welcome!

Baby Bottle Campaign – Advokate Life & Education Services will be operating the campaign from Sunday, May 12th – Sunday, June 16th. Please see the posted bulletin on the Community Board for more information.

Food Bank Donations – The wheelbarrow for food donations is at the back of the Sanctuary. We are collecting non-perishable food items for local families in need. Norma Leith has kindly volunteered to deliver your donations to the Langley Food Bank.

Peace Arch Chorus Sneak Preview – This event will be held on April 24th at 8 p.m., here at Langley Presbyterian. Everyone is Welcome!

Starting April 21st – Each Sunday before service we will need 2-4 people to set up the tables & chairs in the fellowship hall, and after fellowship and refreshments, to put them away. If you are interested in helping, please add your name to the sign-up sheet, located on the table next to the library.

 April 7th, 14th, and 21st. If anyone is interested in becoming a member of LPC, please let your elder or Rev. Lydia know.

April 11th – Everyone is welcome to join this bible study group. Start time is 10:30 a.m. The sign-up sheet is on the table next to the library.
