The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Canada will commence today and will be held at Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. Rev. Dr. Patricia Dutcher-Walls from our Presbytery will become the new Moderator. Remember the commissioners as they make decisions for the PCC.

 There will be a Visioning Meeting of Elders on Friday, June 7^th at 5 p.m.

Nancy Hantke is hosting a tea social on Wednesday, June 5^th, at 2 p.m. All ladies are welcome to this event. The fellowship tea will be held at Nancy Hantke’s home, at 1338 231^st Street. Please RSVP by Sunday, June 2^nd to (604) 818-2232 via text or phone call.

A gentle reminder, the LPC Garden Party & Workshop at Calvin Presbyterian Church will be held on Saturday, June 1^st, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All are welcome.

As a friendly reminder, the property team will clean up the flower beds around the church and finish some raking on the outside of the new fence. If you want to help, please bring your garden tools, gloves, and a lawn bag on Saturday, June 1^st, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Happy anniversary Duncan & Lyn! Duncan and Lyn Morrison celebrated their 60^th wedding anniversary on May 2^nd. We pray that the Heavenly Father will bless and keep you and grant you times of happiness and peace together.

Men’s Breakfast – This month’s breakfast will be held on Saturday, May 18^th at 9 am. This will be the last gathering before the summer break until resuming in September.

Baby Bottle Campaign – Advokate Life & Education Services’ Baby Bottle Campaign is from Sunday, May 12th – Sunday, June 16th. Please see the posted bulletin on the Community Board for more information.
